Such a treat to make a feature for a show garden this year.
The Bacchus Garden was beautifully designed and planted by Jean Wardrop (www.wardropdesigns.co.uk ) and immaculately built by RDC Landscape Design (www.rdclandscape.co.uk)
The design was inspired by Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and also by Hampton Court Palaces Great Vine, planted in 1769.
"Exuberant blousy blooms fill the curvaceous wine glass-inspired space, providing a sense of abundance. Tiered overflowing pools represent a continuous flow of wine."

The pools are made of bronze resin with a liver patina.
The largest has a diameter of 120cm the smallest 75cm.
These are a couple of pictures of me trying out the water flow in my studio.
